1. Copy the connector address

2. Add it to your assistant
- Claude (claude.ai or the Claude app): open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, name it Open Calls Board and paste the address.
- Other assistants: look for “connectors”, “MCP servers” or “apps” in settings and add a server with the address above.
3. Ask
- “Find fully funded PhD positions in Sweden that close in the next month.”
- “Which scholarships for education students close this month? Give me the links.”
- “List R1 universities in Texas with their graduate admissions pages and TOEFL requirements.”
- “What free events are in Brooklyn this weekend?”
- “Suggest no-fee education journals ranked in the top 10% of the field.”
- “Find calls for papers on AI in education with deadlines in the next 3 months.”
Can the AI apply for me?
It can do most of the work, and you stay in charge of the final step:
- Find and compare opportunities that fit your field, country and level, using this connector.
- Check requirements on the official page and list the documents you need.
- Draft your motivation letter, research statement or cover letter from your CV and the call.
- Help fill in forms with a browser assistant such as Claude in Chrome, while you watch.
You create the application accounts, enter your passwords, pass “I'm not a robot” checks, pay any fees and press Submit yourself, because the application goes out in your name. Always confirm deadlines on the official page.
